Dr. Mundla brings over 25 years of experience in Chemical Process Research and Development. This time includes eight years of academic research experience with in-depth studies into a wide range of work including total synthesis of diterpenes, alkaloids, heterocycles, metabolites, molecules of theoretical interest, and development of novel reactions.
He has designed and developed cost-effective and practical synthetic routes to new APIs and novel SAR platforms for chemical process development. He has additionally developed novel synthetic routes and processes for more than 12 NCEs and successfully implemented the technology for six of them on a large scale. He has worked as an internal chemistry strategy advisor to teams in drug discovery chemistry, manufacturing teams, and for patent attorneys.
